Ridgecrest Staff
Rev. Jim Headley is pastor of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He began serving in 1993. He has previously pastored churches in Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is a graduate of the University of Montevallo and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Anita have two children. Brother Jim is a loving pastor. He adores children, and delivers the messages God gives him with love and determination to teach us.
Scott Hilliker serves as the minister of music and education. He joined the staff in 1985. He previously served the Heights Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. He is a graduate of Florida Baptist Theological College and attended New Orleans Seminary. Scott oversees the worship and educational ministries. He and his wife Kathy have three children. Brother Scott leads us in our praise to Jesus and our expression of thanks, love, and desire to draw so much nearer to Him.
Joseph Fowler is our Associate Pastor of Youth and Families. Joseph is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Public Relations. He is enrolled at Beeson Divinity School, Birmingham, Alabama pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. He most recently served as Minister to Youth and Children at Fayette First Baptist Church, Fayette, Alabama. He also has served his home church, Brent Baptist, Brent, Alabama, where he was licensed to preach the Gospel h in May 2008. He facilitates and encourages Christ as the center of the lives of families and the worship of the youth. He is engaged to be married at the end of this year.
Wyndi Winters serves as the Children's Minster at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She began serving in March of 2006. She has three children - Scott, Mikayla & Gabe. She has a desire to help build the biblical foundation each child needs to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Windy Nelson is our Preschool Coordinator. Windy is married to Tom and they have two children, Bailey & Raegan.
